Our commitments

The postal industry must face up to a triple challenge – an economic, regulatory and ethical one. With these issues in mind, SOLYSTIC relies on clear policies that are set out by General Management and recognised by official certification organisations.

Recognition for our commitments

SOLYSTIC has been ISO 9001 certified since 1994 and ISO 14001 certified since 2007. These certificates recognise SOLYSTIC's well established Quality, Safety and Environment Management processes.

Concrete actions for SOLYSTIC

We made the decision to respect the requirements of RoHS and WEEE directives even though our materials are not directly affected. We pay particular attention to:

• product composition and identification of recycling procedures,
• environmental impacts when installing, operating and maintaining our machines on customer premises.

For example, reducing noise levels, inventing systems for vacuuming dust, supervising product handling.

SOLYSTIC has embraced the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Since 2009, we have been committed to respecting the 10 principles set out in the Global Compact charter and publishing an annual Communication on Progress (COP).

Ethics
As a subsidiary of Northrop Grumman, SOLYSTIC enforces the group’s rules of conduct and ethical principles through its ethics charter. All SOLYSTIC employees are frequently briefed on the subject. Ethics representatives are based at every SOLYSTIC site.
