History
|
SOLYSTIC is home to the engineering, manufacturing, project management and logistic support personnel who have been providing state-of-the-art postal automation for half a century. This history resulted in SOLYSTIC equipment being installed in more than 25 countries around the world.
SOLYSTIC mail sorting equipment includes the ELIT, COSMOS, STAR and MARS letter sorters, the TOP (AFSM-100) Flat Sorting Machine (the most widely fielded flat sorting machine) and the TOP 2000 (the most advanced flat sorting machine). SOLYSTIC was a pioneer in the development of OCR/VCS address recognition technology.
We are proud of our history and will continue to lead the industry in developing technologies for quality high performance automation at affordable pricing.

for sorting and delivering mail and parcels and improving
material handling efficiency in government (postal), commercial
and industrial facilities
A&IS has been a supplier of USPS automation for more than 15 years. A&IS has delivered nearly 4000 systems including barcode sorters, scan-while-you-band systems, input and output subsystems, stamp vending machines and most recently the Automated Flat Sorting Machine 100.
A&IS also delivers industrial material handling systems for commercial client parcel sortation and distribution centres. The reference list includes UPS, FedEx Express, FedEx Ground, and Airborne Express.
A&IS is a business unit of Northrop Grumman Corporation Electronic Systems. The Electronic Systems sector realised estimated sales of $6 billion in 2004.
