| Advanced management information system
ISIS has been created in order to manage and supervise the whole mail processing and maintenance data system.
Its main function is to collect statistical data, load sorting plans and address files and publish work reports.
Further it supports maintenance functions such as access to technical documentation, warning for preventive maintenance. Spare parts references can also be found.
| Plant level and local ISIS
Consolidation of mail volumes is done at local level. The planning and optimisation of ressources (both people and equipment) is done accordingly.
ISIS is a means of exchanging information concerning volumes, ID-tags, sorting plans and address data files with other sorting centres but also with the National Supervision Centre, when it exists.
| National monitoring centre
The national monitoring centre post ensures the global supervision of the network. ISIS collects and consolidates the information necessary to support the follow up of processing operations in real time. National management of address files, of forwarding address files as well as of sort plans can be performed under ISIS control.

This architecture is designed so as to facilitate the interface with existing client information systems at the facility, national an international mail levels. This ensures maximum operational integration and a hight degree of supportability.
