At the end of 2007, Royal Mail and SOLYSTIC signed a contract for the supply of 76 letter sorting machines. The first of these have been installed and are operating, under intensive test conditions, with actual mail. The intelligent letter sorting machines, derived from SOLYSTICTM's STAR machine, are linked to the Royal Mail's address interpretation system. |
