On the foundations of an old shell factory, SOLYSTIC has built up a high-tech industry which employs more than 400 people at its Bourg-lès-Valence site. Here the postal sorting machines which may be up to 80 metres long, are designed, fitted and tested. The Gentilly site, based in the Paris region, is the company’s headquarters. The unit based in Belgium mainly deals with maintenance provision, while a local office represents SOLYSTIC in China. The parent company, Northrop Grumman is located in Baltimore, MD (USA).
