OCR - performance in optical address reading
Handwritten or typed, horizontal, vertical, upside down or skewed addresses. Handles all shapes and sizes of mail, from postcards to large parcels. High-resolution acquisition in multi-grey levels (MGL) and coloured. Simultaneous processing of addresses from various different machines. Interaction with the video coding system VCS.
VCS - the comprehensive video coding system
Process data in real-time or deferred mode, depending on time constraints. Complementarity between VCS and OCR systems. Capable of printing an ID-tag to identify the item. Ergonomic design of work stations, so as to optimise the comfort of operators.
