Compact efficiency
Since its launch, MARS has been evaluated and adopted by many European postal operators. With over 1400 machines already ordered, SOLYSTIC is established as a leading supplier of equipment for carrier route preparation. The compactness of the machine is one of the main characteristic of MARS.
Range handled by MARS
MARS can process envelopes measuring up to 292x176x8 mm.

MARS C4, an extended mail range
In its MARS C4 version, the machine is able to process a mail range up to 300g, 229 mm height, 324 long and 10 mm thick.
The machine can also sort plastic wrapped items.
How does it work
In multi-pass mode, MARS recycles objects without having to remove them from the machine between passes. Separators are used to sort the processed mail into many different directions – 20 stackers in 2-pass mode can sort in 400 directions, while 10 outputs in 3-pass mode can sort in 1000 directions. On a machine equipped with 20 stackers, the number of delivery points can be up to 5,800.
Even in its basic version, MARS is equipped with a bar code or ID-tag reader.
Strong points
Ergonomic
Easy maintenance
Long-term robustness
Proven reliability
Broad processing range
Single operator
Sorting in one or several passes
11 to 13,000 letters sequenced per hour (in a 3-pass mode)
Image processing
To make MARS even more efficient, it can be equipped with a COPERNIC™ image acquisition system, offering the possibility of a connection to an automatic address recognition system or a video coding system in differed mode.
An easy-to-use, compact machine
The number of outputs was intentionally limited to 28 and the machine designed to allow multi-pass processing. The L-shaped machine makes movement easier for both the operator and for trolley handlers. MARS is equipped with an easy-to-use touch sensitive control panel.
The operator is responsible for the machine’s daily maintenance. MARS can also be connected to a remote maintenance system, capable of verifying that it is functioning correctly or carrying out a remote diagnosis before use.
